HAVE FUN!!!

ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED CHILDREN NEAR OR INSIDE OF THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT!

We ask that no children or person(s) wear shoes, sandals, hats, eye glasses, sun glasses or jewelry while inside of the "Rental Equipment."

There are maximums for each and every type of unit. Children under the age of 3 should be closely supervised with extra caution taken for their safety. If the child is visibly ill, please do not permit this child inside of the Rental Equipment. (Please reference the table on page 2)

NO SILLY STRING OR FACE PAINT IS PERMITTED TO TOUCH OR COME IN CONTACT WITH THE RENTAL EQUIPMENT. THIS CONSTITUTES A MATERIAL BREACH THAT MAY COST YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. Please do not put us in a situation where it costs thousands of dollars to get a unit repaired or replaced.

No gum, candy, hard plastic toys, sharp objects, food or beverages of any type, no bats or sticks, no dirt, mud or snow is permitted inside of the Rental Equipment.

If winds are exceeding approximately 15 miles per hour or more all children must be directed to exit the Rental Equipment. The Rental Equipment must be unplugged and must be deflated. Deflating the Rental Equipment also requires that you loosen the strap around the air tube in the rear of the unit that is directed to the blower motor. Once the winds have calmed, please feel free to plug the blower motor back in and re-inflate the Rental Equipment. ** (Before re-inflating the Rental Equipment please ensure that it is clear of debris, that no persons are on top of or inside of the Equipment and that the strap near the rear of the unit and touching the motor is tightened).

If raining, please have all children exit the Rental Equipment so that the bouncing or jumping surface does not become slippery. Please let the Rental Equipment stand alone and DO NOT UNPLUG THE MOTOR IF IT IS RAINING. The Rental Equipment is designed to repel water and after it stops raining please dry off the bouncing or jumping area of the Rental Equipment before permitting any children to continue use.

Please do not attempt to move, fold, or unfold any of the Rental Equipment. You may move the equipment back into its original place by pulling on the corners and then re-securing its original destination. (BAJ intentionally sets-up the unit with a fully enclosed blower motor that must stay on the entire time that the unit is in use) unless winds exceed 15 mph. The design of the blower is such that no moving parts are exposed. This is a very important safety feature that should be taken into full account.

The blower unit must be located within 75 feet from a 110 v power outlet.

Please keep an eye on the blower motor so that paper, leaves, objects, or dirt do not get sucked into or onto the air %u2013feed screen.

Please keep children away from the blower motor AT ALL TIMES.

These units will sink, they do not float. Therefore, please do not submerge them into water. This will ruin the entire Rental Equipment and force the Customer to replace the equipment.

COTTON CANDY MACHINE SAFETY

Do not put hands or objects in rotating spinner head (floss head).
Do not fill spinner head with floss sugar while it is rotating.
Only one operator at a time should collect cotton candy from the machine.
Only use the provided cones to collect the cotton candy.

COTTON CANDY MACHINE INSTRUCTIONS

Place machine on level and sturdy surface.
Plug machine into 110v outlet only.
Place white plastic bowl over machine and spinner head, making sure it is level and sitting on the rubber pegs.
Make sure that the leather straps are straight out.

CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS

Main Switch: Turns motor "on" and "off" and supplies the electric current to the heat switch.
Heat Switch: Turns electric current to the heating element (ribbon) inside of the spinner head "on" and "off."
Heat Control: Increases or decreases voltage to the heating element (ribbon) using a gradual dial.

MAKING COTTON CANDY

NEVER ADD FLOSS SUGAR WHEN MOTOR IS RUNNING.
Never add any other type of sugar to the machine, other than the floss, sugar provided by Bounce Around Jax, Inc. (It is specially formulated sugar produced for making cotton candy. Other sugar types will burn the heating element and will not produce cotton candy.)
With the Main and Heat switches off, fill the spinner head with floss sugar to 90% capacity or approximately a half inch from the top. (This is necessary to obtain a balanced condition in the spinner head)
After filling to approximately 90% tap the spinner head to ensure that the sugar settles and double check to make sure that it is truly at 90% capacity.
Turn the heat control knob to maximum setting (clockwise) for fast warm up.
Turn Main switch and Heat switch ON.
The machine will begin to make cotton candy in a few seconds...then, please reduce the heat setting by turning the control knob (counter clockwise) to the indicated mark.
IF YOU LEAVE THE HEAT SETTING ON HIGH FOR TOO LONG THIS WILL BURN THE RIBBON INSIDE THE SPINNER HEAD AND MAY CAUSE SMOKE.
Therefore, it is imperative that you turn down the temperature as soon as the machine begins to produce cotton candy.
Then, pick a cone and begin to swirl it in a counter-clockwise motion around the bowl to collect the cotton candy on the cone.
